Why do you need this? Because when you buy at auction, if you make the winning bid, it’s legally binding, which means you need to check out the property thoroughly before you bid. What is the auction pack? An auction legal pack is a treasure trove of documents about the property at the auction. It includes:

Buying a property at auction can be a great way to find a good deal, on average auction prices are 30%, or more, lower than on the open market.

 

Properties go to auction for a number of reasons, sometimes, admittedly, because of problems with the property that make it hard to sell conventionally, but other properties go to auction because of repossession, insurance, inheritors out of the country, or simply needing a quick sale, so for the savvy house hunter there are bargains to be found.
